Running Music | Rihanna Set To Cover Rolling Stone Magazine?

Move over Snooki and cheer up Ne-Yo . Balance could be coming back to Rolling Stone magazine in the form of a red-headed pop princess.

It appears pop superstar Rihanna will be featured in an upcoming issue of the long-running music and pop culture magazine.

“Just wrapped my photoshoot! Mama is a Rolling Stone,” Rihanna tweeted on micro-blogging website Twitter. Although there is no word on if RiRi will actually grace the magazine’s cover, she will be featured prominently. Earlier in the week, the magazine asked fans to submit questions for the chart-topping singer.

Rolling Stone has come under fire lately for it’s latest cover star, Jersey Shore train wreck, Snooki. Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo complained saying “”Fun is fun, mayhem is entertaining, but COME ON PEOPLE!!” Singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles echoed the dismay: “Uh, Snooki’s on the cover of Rolling Stone. I officially unsubscribe.”
